WOODWORKING

I used old wood scrap and cedar planks to build a project table and workshop.

Using scrap wood, I created a treadle lathe for turning green wood and making bowls. I experimented with forging different tools for various turning jobs.

I made a box using dovetail joints and old wood scraps to improve my wood working skills with hand tools.

These are my first attempts to carve spoons out of wood.

I really enjoy working with wood and have made many wooden spoons and utensils to give as gifts to friends and family. These are examples of more refined spatulas.

I carved my first small wood bowl using a hook knife before learning to turn bowls on the treadle lathe I built.

I found a rusted antique ax head in a friend's family farm with a broken handle. I sanded the ax and shaped a new handle to restore it for a second life.

I've experimented with forging different tools for various turning jobs. This modified wrench is useful for making bowls.
